ROCKING THE CASBAH* IN MELBOURNE AUSTRALIA - CONTACT

CURRENTLY AVAILABLE FOR WORK

Based aroud the Classic Styles of logo animation in the early 80's - High gloss, and set in the middle of the universe.

Cassette world - Inner city style.

Experimented with a few lighting 3D techniques to create a mini cassette world.

Screenshots from an animated piece I'm currently working on.

Playing around with some 3D - inspired by the amazing Daft Punk Alive tour.

Is TV losing is edge? It certainly is with me. What used to be the hub of news and entertainment barely gets a look in these days..

Added some sophistication to an invite with a little 3D rendering.

Snippets of an animation I made for a Medibank Private web campaign.

Small 3D modelling job for a competition to be the Pizza Master.

'Beautiful Technology' was the theme, with a brief to go a bit nuts on a futuristic space station site.
Many long hours spent 3D modelling, texturing and animating all the different scenes and transitions.
Was great fun to work on - From initial concepts to the launch.

A personal piece of artwork I recently designed. Love to hear any of your comments. Inspired by Eric Sin.

Lots of late nights rendering and animating scenes for this project.
Based on the car trip from geelong to Melbourne, the band finds themselves in 'Pig World' - and tries to outrun the Pulp Fiction style gangster pigs to the big lights of the city. Had lots of fun creating this project with the old gang at SEE.

When I thought about an Ident for tribal DDB Melbourne, I thought Indiana Jones 'Tribal' scenes. I ended up modelling a Tiki head and animating a scene around that.

Sins - or Social Insights are the brainchild of the company SEE. I designed and animated many scenes for a DVD representing the many areas of this idea.

A sophisticated mini site (part of an e-marketing strategy), designed as a gallery space to reflect the exclusive feel of BMW’s. Access is exclusive to subscribers to the e-nthusiast newsletter and showcases articles and reviews.

This site is based around a reflective 3D room. Spent lots of time getting the render reflections and lighting just right for the modern feel.

Over the two years I worked on Sportsgirl, this is my favorite design. The creative was "Circus", so I decided to include classic carnival elements into the site. Several hours of 3D modeling and I had a parchment, Spinning Ferris wheel, circus tent and moving flags using the cloth tag in Cinema 4D.

A flagship project for SEE, the Mini install involved projected motion graphics onto a vinyl wrapped mini. With the use of proprietary [motion detection] software, visitors would personally interact and control the animations as they played across all surfaces of the car, for a highly memorable brand experience.

SEE developed a website (flash application) that offered every Australian the chance to create a personalised TV ad showing support for our national team (over 8,000 participants creating adverts). Part of the PR strategy was to create a TVC to drum up interest in the website, which would also be circulated as an online viral campaign. I concepted, modelled, and animated 2 tv's kicking a soccerball around a pitch.

Concepts I designed for Melbourne Central’s new On3 Brand project.

I created the supers, designed to be dynamic, innovative and rousing (reflecting the brand and to suit the corporate audience on the day). Built in Cinema 4D and Aftereffects. Turn around of about 3 days.

Flat lay concepts for the recent Kate Alexa music video.

Massive project. I created the overall style and developed the concepts, and was part of the motion graphic production team.

The original design template I created was replicated for all NAB training DVD packages for 2006. Design included 3D supers and DVD menus, animated background images and elements, to create the best bank teller training videos around.

Victorian Government website designed and built to meet W3C compliancy.

A women’s fashion site and online store, created using Flash and XML to allow easy updating each season. Design had to reflect Metalicus’ unique style, and very simple to use.

One of the fun ones... Lots of research went into developing an entertaining game that people would play more than once. (If you get a chance to play, check out Zoltron’s unusual "hip thrust"… Who put that get there!?)

Designed the look and feel for See's website with Art Director Stephen Van Elst.

Features live footage that pops up when you least expect it.

Squash was the theme for July. The homepage has a layered effect, so that as you moved your mouse elements would move on the x axis to show a faked depth of field.

Based on the creative given, I used the vector elements to their best advantage for Sportsgirl’s August website design.

Footy Tipping Logo for this year’s tipping competition - featured on the homepage of www.afl.com.au.

“Flash and tecky”, that’s how I describe the design I did for Polaroid’s website. The site was supported by a national billboard promotion. …Believe it or not, but I'm actually the Policeman in the centre picture. The agency used a few people for casting in this campaign.

This concept was based around a user being being able to change the graphics displayed on the roof of the car. The user could browse through several different designs, which would also be animated on the back projected wall.

Designs I made for redevelopment of the go for your life campaign.

Club Ryno was created after a messy SEE conference in Launceston, late 2005.
After a very successful second Club Ryno event in Uluru 2006, it inspired me to create a follow up t-shirt design. This design was originally created for a birthday party with an 'Elvis' theme. Unfortunately I never got the T-shirts made, something I have to follw up when I find a store with quality cheap blank T-shirts.
